Tolik, who we call LT, was brought to us one evening by the police. They said that he had been on a marshrutka (mini-bus) all day. When the bus driver finished his shift, he found that LT was still on the bus all alone. A woman who was at the bus station took him to the police. LT did not know his family name, his age, or his home address. All that LT could tell us was that a man put him on the bus, and his mother loved alcohol more than him. LT had a seizure shortly after we received him, we did MRI’s and x-rays but never found the cause of the seizure. We were able to determine his age by hand x-rays (which put his birth date in the autumn of 2002). We went to court to give him a birthdate and family name.
